The Directorate’s Message
Being accountable to Vice President for Academic Affairs(VPAA) of MWU, the directorate aspires for the realization of producing highly dynamic professionals who are committed enough towards engaging in all theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum designed to bring about fundamental profiles compulsory at every level of education undertaking in MWU and thereby addressing societal problems. As per the current focus of education enshrined in education policy of HEIs of Ethiopia the directorate endeavors for its efficient and optimum execution by seriously monitoring the teaching learning processes in terms of applying the current mode of teaching learning methods and using essential technologies to upgrade the current low positioning education quality. For its effective enactment of duties and responsibilities, the directorate works with two coordinators; namely teacher development and teaching learning process coordinators. The director works hand in hand with colleges, schools and Institutes found in three campuses (Robe, main campus, GobaReferral Hospital(GRH) and Shashemenne campuses). The delivery of the programs undertaking via:
- Regular ( varieties of fields)
- Summer ( Teacher Education)
- Week end(varieties of fields)
- Winter in service program ( Agriculture and Natural Resources)
